BEAUTY AND SPA

Beauty & spa treatments refer to services offered in salons, spas, day spas, and resorts. Full body wellness is often the focus with treatments for hair, body, and skin while soothing the soul using everything from aromatherapy to magnets.

Examples of hair treatments include color, waving, and texturizing using the latest products that actually condition and thicken the hair.

Examples of body and skin services include facials & exfoliation treatments, glycolic treatments, and body wraps. According to Lynne Cary & Company salon "body wrapping is used for multiple purposes ranging from exfoliation of dead skin cells and rehydration to water loss. Exfoliating wraps are those such as mud mask wraps and scrubs. Hydrating wraps consist of aromatherapy and herbal wraps, each employing separate minerals and essential oils used to heighten the look and freshness of skin."

Other services offered as beauty & spa treatments include manicures & pedicures, massage therapy, hair removal, permanent make-up, and hydrotherapy.
